Is it safe for children on tours that use open roads?

A number of our routes run on protected bike lanes and traffic-free paths, and these are the ones we'd point families toward. Tours flagged "Adventure" or "Mixed Surface" may include stretches shared with car traffic, which isn't ideal for younger or less confident riders. When in doubt, choose a tour marked "Family Friendly," or ask us directly.
