Do I need to know how to ride an e-bike?

You don't need any e-bike experience specifically — if you're comfortable riding an ordinary bicycle, you'll pick up the pedal-assist in minutes. Your guide runs a short safety briefing and hands-on practice before every tour starts, so you'll get a feel for the bike before you're out on the road.

If, at the start of the tour, your guide feels you're not yet comfortable enough to ride safely on that specific route, they may ask you to sit it out — it's a safety call, not a judgment, and it's there to protect you and the rest of the group.
