From there, the terrain changes completely: forest trails, dirt roads, and genuine off-road riding around Normafa, with the Elisabeth Lookout Tower marking the highest point in the city and one of its best panoramic views. Your guide adjusts the pace and route to the group's skill level, but make no mistake — this route calls for real basic-to-intermediate mountain biking ability, not just a willingness to pedal. Along the way, you'll pause at a local spot for a proper strudel break, refuelling before the ride back down.
