From the centre, the route heads west towards Juvignac. The terrain shifts as you leave the city behind. Today they hold their ground against the creep of the modern city, and they're all the more striking for it. The ride is 17 km in total. The city centre section is flat and easy. As you head towards Guirlande Park and Celleneuve, the route climbs gradually. The return leg is downhill — a satisfying finish after a morning or afternoon of discovery. The full tour runs 3 to 3.5 hours, at a pace that leaves room to look, listen, and ask questions. An e-bike is provided, so the gentle inclines stay gentle.
