The challenge was to find engaging ways to interact with fans during the Holiday Season and promote the upcoming 'all holiday music' on the client's station. The proposed solution was to create a highly shareable augmented reality filter on Instagram that would complement other media in the market.The strategy involved researching other brands' approaches in this space and considering filters that would appeal to the audience demographic, particularly focusing on family-friendly and shareable concepts. Leveraging the popularity of face filters among parents with young families, the decision was made to create a holiday elf-themed filter.The solution delivered a fun and engaging filter that allowed users to transform into holiday elves, aligning with the client's brand and marketing goals. The filter design tied in with other marketing collateral, creating a cohesive brand experience across different channels. The client was impressed with the end product, which received significant usage and was featured on Augmented Reality showcase sites like the Lenslist.
