Getxo by E-Bike: The Bizkaia Bridge & Golden Coast

You'll start at the Maritime Museum, riding through Olabeaga along a comfortable, flat riverside path — free of hills and heavy traffic — before reaching the Bizkaia Bridge: a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's oldest working transporter bridge. You'll cross the river on its moving platform, with sweeping views over the water and the two villages it connects, Portugalete and Getxo. On the other side, the scenery shifts entirely. The Golden Mile of Getxo unfolds — grand houses and seaside villas built by the city's wealthiest families — leading to Ereaga and Arrigunaga beaches, two of the coast's best stretches of sand. The guided ride wraps up at the Old Port of Algorta, a genuinely historic fishing corner.
